The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has many across the globe quarantined in their homes. In light of this, major television networks ABC, NBC and CBS, along with curator Lady Gaga, will be offering One World: Together at Home, a historic special that brings together musicians, actors and other celebrities to raise money to fight coronavirus.

The special is set to air April 18 and will feature late-night hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert, as well as a plethora of musical guests. The stated aims of the broadcast are both to bring awareness to the dangers of coronavirus and to raise funds for frontline health care workers in their struggle against the disease. Alongside these networks, the special is being produced in partnership with Global Citizen and the World Health Organization.

The three hosts and Lady Gaga will be joined for the two-hour event by a huge roster of celebrities, including Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan and Stevie Wonder. Elba, along with his partner Sabrina, was one of the first major celebrities to be diagnosed with coronavirus.

In addition to health care workers, the funds raised will go to such organizations that provide support for many of the vulnerable communities around the world that are being hit hardest by the outbreak.

One World: Together at Home is a joint venture between NBC, ABC, CBS, Global Citizen and the World Health Organization, set to broadcast Saturday, April 18, 8-10 p.m. ET.
