Marvel Studios artists Ryan Meinerding shared an unused design of Corvus Glaive that is much more terrifying than the one that Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame used.
The design gives the Black Order member a more orc-like look. His nose and lower face are smoothed down, similar to the Harry Potter villain Voldemort, and his chin is much sharper. Overall, the look is much less human than what the movies went with.
Voiced and portrayed through motion capture by Michael James Shaw, Corvus Glaive is a member of Thanos’ elite Black Order. He is sent by the Mad Titan to capture Vision’s Mind Stone in Infinity War but is killed by the synthetic android. A past version of himself appears in the final battle of Endgame, where he is killed by Okoye.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Josh Brolin as Thanos.
