Based on the novel by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler, Cursed reimagines the story of King Arthur from the perspective of Nimue, a young woman with a mysterious power who is destined to become the legendary Lady of the Lake. After the death of her mother, she teams up with a young mercenary named Arthur in a quest to locate the wizard Merlin. Along the way, she will become a symbol of rebellion against King Uther and the Red Paladins.

Netflix ordered the series back in 2018, over a year before Miller and Wheeler’s novel was released. The first season will consist of the 10 episodes, including five that were written by Wheeler. It is expected to premiere summer 2020 on Netflix.

Based on the novel of the same name by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler, Cursed stars Katherine Langford, Devon Terrell, Gustaf Skarsgård, Peter Mullan, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Daniel Sharman, Sebastian Armesto, Ella Prebble, Scarlett Rock and Daniella Gad. The series premieres this summer on Netflix.
