Dark Nights: Death Metal Gets Two Tie-In One-Shots, Extra Issue

DC has revealed Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Jonathan Glapion and FCO Plascencia’s upcoming Dark Nights: Death Metal series will receive two tie-in one-shot comics, which are currently slated for August, and an extra issue, bumping the total to seven.

Revealed on DC’s blog, the first of the two one-shots is Dark Nights: Death Metal Guidebook #1. That book will tell explore Earth’s various factions following the Justice League’s lost to Perpetua in the page’s of that team’s eponymous book. Guidebook will feature the creative talents of Snyder, James Tynion IV, Joshua Williamson, Becky Cloonan, Vita Ayala, Chip Zdarsky, Christopher Priest, Doug Mahnke, Dan Panosian, Eduardo Risso and Khary Randolph. Tomasi, Warren Ellis, Garth Ennis, Daniel Warren Johnson, Frank Tieri, Tony S. Daniel, Jim Cheung, Joëlle Jones, Riley Rossmo and Francesco Francavilla. Dark Nights: Death Metal #1 releases June 16 from DC. Dark Nights: Death Metal Guidebook #1 releases August 18, while Dark Nights: Death Metal Legends of the Dark Knights #1 releases August 25. The main Death Metal series will not publish an issue in September.
