Mortal Kombat has added a new entry to the latest edition of the fighting series with Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, which includes veteran fighters Fujin and Sheeva, along with RoboCop.
All Mortal Kombat 11 players will also have access to a free content update featuring new Stages, Stage Fatalities and Friendships.
“Our fans have really enjoyed the story campaign in Mortal Kombat, and we’re happy to continue the narrative and add new characters to the roster with Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath,” NetherRealm Studios Creative Director Ed Boon said in a statement. “In addition, Friendships and Stage Fatalities are being added as part of the free content update for all Mortal Kombat 11 players. Both are fan-favorite features that we’re excited to finally bring back to the franchise.”
Mortal Kombat 11‘s RoboCop will feature the voice and likeness of actor Peter Weller, who portrayed the character in 1987’s RoboCop and 1990’s RoboCop 2. New Stages include the Klassic Dead Pool and Soul Chamber arenas, along with Stage Fatalities and the popular Friendships feature. These updates will be offered for free.
Developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows and Google Stadia. Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath goes on sale digitally May 26.
