A fundraising contest raising money for Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) will give fans a chance to join the cast of ABC’s Once Upon A Time for a virtual reunion.
The contest is being hosted through Prizeo. Anyone who donates at least $10 to CHOC will have a chance to join the Once Upon A Time Virtual Reunion. The more donations an individual makes, the more chances they get. “We’ll share some of our favorite memories from set and you can ask us all of your burning questions about the show,” the release from CHOC teased.
The virtual reunion will involve actors from throughout the show’s run, including Lana Parrilla (Regina Mills/the Evil Queen), Andrew J. West (the adult Henry Mills), Colin O’Donoghue (Captain Killian “Hook” Jones), Rebecca Mader (Zelena/the Wicked Witch of the West), Emilie de Ravin (Belle French), Sean Maguire (Robin Hood), Raphael Alejandro (Roland) and Dania Ramirez (Jacinda Vidrio).
The money raised will be used to buy an Emergency Management Response Vehicle that can provide offsite medical treatments and tests to help combat the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. “By donating, you’ll help this deserving non-profit provide urgently needed support to seriously ill children during the COVID-19 crisis,” the release reads, “If you’d like to give more, you’ll earn more chances to win. Please do it for the kids and enter now.”
Created by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, Once Upon A Time was a live-action series that featured the adventures of iconic characters — some inspired by Disney — from fairy tales, mythology and classic literature who found themselves trapped in the real world, specifically the small town of Storybrooke, Maine and, in its last season, a Seattle neighborhood, Hyperion Heights. The show was canceled after seven seasons in 2018.
