Sailor Moon: 5 Anime Characters Sailor Saturn Could Defeat (& 5 She Would Lose To)

Sailor Moon‘s Sailor Saturn can, at times, rival Usagi in my power. She is the last scout from the solar system to be revealed in the show and is only active for the end of the S arc and during the Stars arc. In the story, she is revealed to be the reason that the outer scouts are able to be born on earth.

Saturn as the ability to reset the universe when the earth is in danger, and in a regular fight, she uses her legendary Silence Glaive to quickly cut through enemies. Who would she be able to beat in a fight, though, and who would be able to overcome the young Sailer Solider?

10 Win: Sakura Kinomoto (Cardcaptor Sakura)

Sakura is a magical girl who has to rely on cards to fight with. Most of the time, the cards she ends up facing off with aren’t all that dangerous. Many Clow Cards even tilt more of being puzzles or tricksters when they are confronted instead of anything that would resemble a fight.

The chances are that Sailor Saturn would be able to wipe Sakura out before she could even figure which Clow Card to use.

9 Lose: Swim Swim (Magical Girl Raising Project)

Swim Swim is one of the most terrifying magical girls to ever be invented. She was from the series Magical Girl Raising Project, a death game themed anime that Swim Swim almost prevailed in. Swim Swim is young like Hotaru and carries around a halbert similar to Saturn’s weapon.

Swim Swim is able to swim with her weapon through any object like water, giving her a deadly advantage.

8 Win: Megumin (KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!)

Sailor Scouts have been shown to take a lot of damage, and Saturn is probably no different. In a match up with Megumin, though, Saturn should be able to get her attack off first. There is also the fact that Saturn would likely start the match too close for Megumin to successfully use her explosion magic.

Saturn would probably quickly become annoyed with her antics and end the battle instantly.

7 Lose: Homura Akemi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica)

Homura is not your average magical girl, and aside from pretty much being the devil, she is immortal. Homura would just come back more powerful each time Saturn killed her.

Homura also possesses the ability to freeze time for short periods and can effectively use firearms and grenades. It’s not likely that Saturn could stand up to a full out attack by Homura.

6 Win: Kuroha Neko

Kuroha Neko comes from the series Brynhildr in the Darkness. She is a magical girl who can essentially blow objects up with her mind and even has a Valkyrie form. The problem is, the button on the back of her neck has to be pressed for Neko to unleash her power and it also erases some of her memories each time she uses it.

Neko has been killed before in the series by a character who is less powerful than Saturn.

5 Lose: Emilia (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-)

Emilia, despite seeming like she isn’t powerful at times, is a horrifying foe. She is always accompanied and protected by Puck. Her powers would easily let her freeze or pierce Saturn with crystals within seconds.

It’s highly likely that Puck would kill Saturn even if she did manage to defeat Emilia. Because of this, Saturn would likely fail at taking down the half-elf.

4 Win: Yoshino Himekawa (Date A Live)

Yoshino comes from Date a Live and is a spirit, a girl from another dimension with magical powers. She is a younger girl like Hotaru and rides a giant bunny. She also has the ability to use ice against her opponents, but all in all, Yoshino wouldn’t be strong enough to stop Saturn’s attacks.

Saturn would likely break through Yoshino’s ice walls with ease and take her down in a single hit.

3 Lose: C.C. (Code Geass)

C.C. is a horrifying woman that possesses the power of Geass. No matter how many times she’s slain, she will rise back up to keep going for Saturn. She is also trained in using a gun and is extremely deceptive. In a true battle, Saturn would likely run out of energy before even coming close to getting rid of C.C.

There is also always a chance that one of C.C.’s contracts would show up to do her bidding.

2 Win: Ichigo Momomiya (Tokyo Mew Mew)

Ichigo is an adorable magical girl, who is formidable in her own right. The problem is she isn’t very strong, and her powers really only work on evil aliens. Ichigo doesn’t really have an ultimate attack and relies on the power of the man she loves to boost her up near the end of the series.

While Ichigo’s cat-like reflexes may help her dodge around for a bit, ultimately she would lose to Sailor Saturn.

1 Lose: Jibril (No Game No Life)

Jibril is part of the frugal race and, as seen in the No Game No Life movie, can be incredibly sadistic and powerful. Jibril has the power to wipe out whole cities, and it’s highly likely that she wouldn’t even let Saturn’s attacks hit her. Jibril also doesn’t seem to have a problem with fighting weaker enemies.

Without the rules of Tet, it is likely Jibril would rip through Saturn without holding back.
