Space Force Photos Reveal Carell's Co-Stars, Release Date | CBR

Netflix has announced the release date and cast for the Steve Carell-led comedy Space Force.

In addition to Carell, who plays the head of Space Force, the newly-formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces which has begun to take shape under President Trump’s administration, the series’s cast includes a number of comedy veterans. John Malkovich and Lisa Kudrow co-star, along with Sonic the Hedgehog‘s Ben Schwartz, Crazy Rich Asians’‘s Jimmy O. Yang and Booksmarts‘ Diana Silvers.

The streaming giant has set the series’ premiere date for May 29, though the number of first season episodes remains unknown as of this time.

The workplace comedy was announced by Netflix in 2019. The series sees Carell teaming up with The Office American version showrunner Greg Daniels to produce with Carell serving as the series lead.

Many of the series cast members have been busy, with Schwartz lending his voice to Sonic, DuckTales and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, while Yang followed up on Silicon Valley with Like a Boss and Fantasy Island. Silvers will next be seen in Ava, along with Malkovich.

Space Force stars Steve Carell, John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Jimmy O. Yang, Diana Silvers and Lisa Kudrow. The series will premiere May 29 on Netflix.
