Inde Navarrette has been cast as the daughter of Lana Lang in the upcoming Superman and Lois Arrowverse show. Navarrette will be playing Sarah, who is described as “a whip smart, super cool wild child with some demons in her past” who ends up befriending Jonathan and Jorden Kent.
Navarrette joins a cast that includes Wole Parks (The Vampire Diaries) as the villainous Stranger, Emmanuelle Chriqui (Entourage) as Lana Lang, Erik Valdez (Graceland) as her husband Kyle Cushing, and Dylan Walsh (Blue Bloods) as General Sam Lane.
Superman and Lois would have filmed its pilot episode before taking a break and resuming production during the summer. However, it will go straight into series production due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Written by Todd Helbing (The Flash), Superman & Lois follows the married couple of Clark Kent/Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) as they navigate their careers and being parents. Meanwhile, their sons Jonathan and Jordan deal with teenage life and the pressure of being Superman’s sons.
Superman & Lois was ordered straight-to-series by The CW back in January, with pre-production still underway for the DCTV series. The CW’s Superman & Lois is developed by Todd Helbing and stars Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch. The new Arrowverse series is expected to debut during the 2020-21 TV season.
