Karen Fukuhara, who plays Kimiko/the Female in Amazon Studios’ The Boys, recently shared which Marvel Cinematic Universe characters she’d like the feral anti-hero to join.
On Twitter, Fukuhara was asked, “If in another universe where The Boys and the MCU coexisted, who would you want to see The Female fight?” to which the actor responded, “I wouldn’t want to fight against them, but I’d like for her to fight for Wakanda.”
Wakanda is, of course, the fictional African country of which T’Challa/Black Panther is king. The country was prominently showcased in 2018’s Black Panther and also appeared in Avengers: Infinity War.
Fukuhara’s character in The Boys first appeared in the fourth episode of Season 1, which was titled “The Female of the Species.” She is shown as a mute character with special abilities given to her from injections of a substance known as Compound-V.
The first season of The Boys is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, with a second season on its way. The second season officially finished filming on Nov. 13, 2019 and will continue the adventures of Billy Butcher and his crew as they work to take down the supes.
Amazon Studios’ The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as the Female, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander and Simon Pegg as Hughie’s dad. A Season 2 premiere date has not yet been announced.
Karen Fukuhara knows exactly who she'd want her character from The Boys to team up with in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
