Which Dragon Ball Z Character Are You Based On Your Astrology Type?

Astrology is the assumptive study used to interpret one’s personality and compatibility based on one’s birth date and its correspondence with the alignment of stars and other celestial bodies during that period. The type can be determined solely using this method, however, it can also be determined based on one’s personality alone.

Even though most fictional characters have birth dates and can be classified in a specific astrological sign that way, fans might have wondered which character from their favorite series they are based on their astrology type and if they would match up. Using the characters of popular anime and manga series Dragon Ball Z in particular, here are the types that some of the characters would be best matched with after analysis of their characteristic traits. Perhaps some readers would be surprised to see that they themselves  are a perfect match to their fan favorites – such as being logical like Bulma? A pacifist like Gohan? Or independent like Vegeta?

Dende, one of the most overlooked Namekians, fits almost perfectly within this type due to his unique healing abilities as well as being knowledgeable and sensible. During the Frieza Saga, it was Dende who lead Gohan and Krillin to the Village Elder, Guru, who then unlocked their hidden potential which aided in their victory. Also, due to the small Namekian, so many of the Z Fighters that died after their battle with Frieza and his henchman were wished back to life with the planets Dragon Balls solely by Dende as the wish had to be cited in his native tongue.

Those who identify themselves as Sagittarius are typically explorative and natural healers, as well as philosophical.

9 SCORPIO – Frieza

Universal overlord and ruthless tyrant, Frieza, is one to be revered and feared. Since he was a young prince, he was quite intimidating and lacked empathy, especially amongst the Saiyans. Another trait that matches with the Scorpio type is how he is one of the villains that have the most transformations, with a total of five, each one more powerful than the last.

Those who identify themselves as Scorpio typically have a mystical aura, intimidate others and are transformative beings.

8 LIBRA – Gohan

Gohan, the half-Saiyan son of Goku and Chi-Chi, is a very skilled fighter but shares a trait of Libras in that he would rather be a pacifist. He is not as reluctant to fight, like his father, but still does so throughout most of his life. Also, unlike his father, he is way more reserved and calm, using his intellect more so than his strength.

Those who identify themselves as Libra are typically the peacemaker in social situations, as well as harmonized and balanced in body and soul.

7 VIRGO – Bulma

Renowned scientist and one of the daughters of the Capsule Corporation, Bulma is extremely resourceful and has been the one to use her gadgets and wit to find the elusive Dragon Balls on several occasions. She and Goku have been friends since the series began and she has been helpful since day one to the Saiyan as well as the other members of the Dragon Team.

Those who identify themselves as Virgo are typically purists, very efficient, and take the logical approach in everyday circumstances.

6 LEO – Master Roshi

Master Roshi, hermit and champion martial artist as well as teacher, is a character that is hard to forget. From his lecherous yet playful nature to his invention of various powerful techniques including the Kame-hame-ha wave which took fifty years to perfect. Master Roshi was also the instructor for Goku, Gohan, Krillin, Yamcha, and even the Ox-King, the Emperor of Demons.

Those who identify themselves as Leo are typically the center of attention, that perform well in front of others, and have huge amounts of creativity.

5 TAURUS – Goku

Goku, the main protagonist of the series, is a skilled Saiyan fighter who never backs down from a challenge. Throughout his life, he has trained extensively with many masters, including Roshi, Mr. Popo, and Kami. Goku has been keeping very busy staying fit and constantly achieving new plateaus of power, such as being able to take more than twenty forms, such as Kaioken, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue, Red and Ultra Instinct. Even after doing all that, he makes sure that the Earth and Universe are safe from all threats, including his family and friends above all.

Those who identify themselves as Taurus are typically those who exhibit much growth in their lifetime, and are very productive and lead a stable lifestyle.

4 ARIES – Vegeta

Prince of all Saiyans, Vegeta, has lead a life that has been nothing but a constant struggle. From Frieza blowing up his home planet to him always playing ‘catch up’ with Goku in terms of their strength and power level, he has never let anyone or anything stand in his way. To surpass his limitations as well as Goku’s, Vegeta has had very long, extensive training in Kami’s Hyperbolic Time Chamber under one hundred and fifty times the Earths gravity, as well as trained for months under Whis, the attendant of Beers, the God of Destruction, as well as his instructor. Vegeta is boastful, sometimes cocky, and full of pride, surpassing others expectations more times than not.

Those who identify themselves as Aries are typically the trailblazers in society, are very independent and hold a high regard for their image as seen by others.

3 PISCES – Krillin

Pisces is last in the Zodiac line and is the sign of the spirit world beyond. Being that Krillin shares attributes of this type is evident in that he is no stranger to death, being that he is the character that has died the most in all of the Dragon Ball series, for a total of seven times. Above all, Krillin is a true friend and family man, at one point in his life ceasing his training to raise his daughter and become a member of the police force.

Those who identify themselves as Pisces are typically whimsical dreamers, who are ultimately idealistic and have a keen understanding of death and rebirth.

2 AQUARIUS – Trunks

Trunks, son of Vegeta and Bulma, is famous for his time traveling to warn the Z Fighters about the impending doom of the Androids who will come to kill Goku. For this reason alone, Trunks seems like a perfect fit for Aquarius, as he is one who thrives to be the change in this threatened timeline as well as in the ‘Future Trunks Saga’ when he worked along with Mai, the leader of the Earth’s Resistance against Goku Black.

Those who identify themselves as Aquarius are the revolutionaries of their time, who push for change and have liberal views.

Being a strict mother of two half-Saiyans, as well as wife to the aloof savior of the world, Goku, Chi-Chi is one that fits into many of the characteristics for other Capricorns. Her style of parenting is very old-school and borderline smothering with Gohan, as she was extremely against him training and wanted him to become a scholar. Mother and son have gotten into many heated arguments, as well as husband and wife as well. She is very controlling and hot-tempered and demands discipline from her family but at the same time, she is so strict because she cares.

Those who identify themselves as Capricorn are typically very disciplined, who typically give and follow orders as well as enjoy planning out every little detail.
