Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman/Diana Prince is in the spotlight on an eye-catching magazine cover, which will feature exclusive insight to Wonder Woman 1984.
Shared via the Wonder Woman UK Twitter page, the SFX Magazine cover shows Diana in full Wonder Woman gear in her iconic crossed-arm pose. The cover shows a colorful background, and exclusive director and cast interviews are promised within its pages. “Here’s an exclusive look at Wonder Woman 1984 on the cover of this month’s issue of SFX Magazine, available to buy from May 20,” read the tweet.
Wonder Woman 1984 will see Diana Prince on her next adventure following 2017’s Wonder Woman. The film will take place several decades after Wonder Woman‘s setting of 1918 and will feature appearances by popular DC villains, Maxwell Lord and Cheetah/Barbara Ann Minerva.
Much about Wonder Woman 1984‘s plot has been kept under wraps, though the trailers have shown it will feature the return of Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor and will also put Diana in the character’s Golden Eagle Armor.
Wonder Woman 1984 will be the ninth film set in DC’s Extended Universe and will feature Gal Gadot’s fourth portrayal as the character. The film’s release date has been moved from June 2020 to August 14, 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Directed and co-written by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal and Natasha Rothwell.
To celebrate the upcoming release of Wonder Woman 1984, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince was featured on a bright cover of SFX Magazine.
