WWE is officially bringing back its ’90s pay-per-view event In Your House. The news was revealed during last night’s episode of the company’s black-and-gold brand, NXT. WWE Hall of Famers Triple H, Shawn Michaels and “Road Dogg” Jesse James appeared in a backstage segment of the show to inform the WWE Universe of the event’s return.
The D-Generation X members noted that NXT TakeOver: In Your House is planned to take place from Full Sail University on June 7, and will stream live on the WWE Network. Triple H explained the branding’s resurrection, saying that because people are spending so much time in their houses due to the lockdown, “it only seems apropos that right now we do something about that.”
The first In Your House took place twenty-five years ago on May 14, 1995, from Syracuse, New York, headlined by a WWF Championship matchup between defending champion Diesel and Sycho Sid. At the time of this writing, NXT has yet to reveal any matchups for In Your House, but did promise to add “its own spin” the the event.
